Hello PFF2 readers, Sio here for a very important message after about 3 months of hiatus X_X

As I said in the last journal on my home account, I had every intention to finish this story and keep working on it until I simply couldn’t do it anymore. But due to many different reasons and circumstances, PFF2 has finally reached that point.

When I started doodling ideas for this comic back in 2007, I knew it would be longer than the first PFF, but I had no idea the kind of work I was about to take on. Even with the help of 3 of deviantArt’s finest, we churned out some amazing and fun ideas and a storyline of a full-length movie, but what I didn’t take into account was the amount of time it would take and that each of the team’s lives were destined to go in different directions by the next few years. Ultimately, real-life changes outweigh fan-comic fun.

My life has changed dramatically: finishing the last semester of school ever (which includes preparing for a senior gallery show in November! Yikes!), working at a Bed and Breakfast, searching for art jobs, working on a children’s book, saving up for DragonCon, preparing for my own web-site, developing my own original graphic novel concept (which I’ll announce in 7 or 8 years when it’s ready ha ha) and finding time to spend with the love of my life. It’s a lot to juggle and a bit scary but at the same time, exciting and new. I’m working on being independent. It’s a big step.

As for the team, Doodle has found work at a studio ([link]), Tei has completed his epic WWF and is ready to move on to original ideas ([link]), and Sylva is beginning new projects of her own ([link]), and I don’t expect them to take up the slack that I’m leaving, especially since it was my project to begin with.

Needless to say, I’ve learned a LOT from this comic, just by working on it, getting feedback from you people, and yes, making mistakes. My mistake with PFF2 was failure to plan ahead and see what was doable in the time we had. As it is, there is no way I can complete this comic without sacrificing the time and energy that needs to go into building my future as an artist, and the rest of the team feels the same way. It’s time we focused on our own ideas that we can legally use.

As much is it pains me to leave something unfinished, it has to end here. My deepest apologies go to everyone who has dived so deep into this story. BUT we will not just leave you dangling from a cliff! In a moment, the entire script and idea compendium that we spent so long adding to and editing over the years is going to be posted along with some spoiler art that was never posted because…it was a spoiler. O_O Though it will never do as a replacement for a fully draw-out comic, we hope it’ll at least give you an idea of what it would have been, and most importantly, what happened to Bee.

I hope you enjoy what little we have left to offer, and don’t hate us too much. You’ve all been amazing fans and readers that have supported us and inspired us along the way, and for that we thank you!

EDiT: Hey everybody in PFF2land, TEi here with an important message.

Over the past ten months, I've been keeping tabs on the comments, watches and faves y'all leave us - and even this late after the game, it still warms my heart that so many of you love this project the four of us slaved over. It was definitely a labor of love, and knowing that even now all of our effort has not gone unnoticed is super-awesome.

However, a trend I've noticed in those comments is that people either want to know what happened next, or are still waiting for the scripts we promised we would upload. Well, I'm here for ya! We actually posted our scripts'n'ideas documents with the landslide of concept art and unfinished comic pages, so it's understandable that they would get lost in the shuffle. These documents contain all of the brainbabies that we never got to bring to life one way or another. There are a ton of things each of us regret never having gotten to, mine personally being Pipsqueak's prophetic vision of the future and Spatula proposing to Pestle, (I'm egocentric that way. ) but at least we're able to provide you guys with a bit of closure.
